The Montana Food Bank Network gladly welcomes
food donations of any kind.
The Montana Food Bank Network can accomodate most any kind of food donation, whether it's excess vegetable or fruit harvest, unwanted game meat, or canned goods right out of your cupboard, The Network can distribute it across the state, ready to serve to those in need.
Raw produce (potatoes, carrots, apples) get shipped to our operation in Deer Lodge for canning and repackaging, after which the Network delivers it across the state for individual distribution.
Game meat also goes to the cannery, where it is processed into ready-to-cook form for those in need. |
Small donations of retail food products end up in assorted food boxes for families or shelved in one of the Network's 154 affiliated food pantries.
Larger, bulk donations by manufacturers or distributors get housed in our warehouse until delivered to a food pantry where they are then served in a soup kitchen or given to individuals in their community.
To arrange for a donation, please contact James @ 406/721-3825; 800/809-4752 or on-line at: jdodge@montanafoodbanknetwork.org |
